Terms & Conditions
The agreement between you and UCNHUB LLC covering your use of UCN VPN — accounts, apps, connections, billing, and acceptable use.
Last updated Aug 29, 2026
Who You Are Contracting With
The company behind UCN VPN.
UCN VPN is a consumer virtual private network service operated by UCNHUB LLC, a limited liability company formed under the laws of the State of Delaware, United States. In these Terms, “UCN VPN”, “we”, “us”, and “our” refer to UCNHUB LLC.
UCNHUB LLC also operates other products under the UCN name. These Terms apply only to UCN VPN and the services made available at ucnvpn.com, its subdomains, and the UCN VPN applications.

Acceptance of These Terms
When this agreement takes effect.
These Terms form a binding agreement between you and UCNHUB LLC. You accept them by creating an account, installing an app, connecting to a server, or purchasing a subscription.
If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service. If you are accepting on behalf of an organisation, you confirm that you have authority to bind it.
Note
These Terms incorporate our Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy, and DMCA Policy. Read them together — they form one agreement.
Definitions
Terms used throughout this document.
Service
The UCN VPN encrypted tunnelling service, our server network, the website at ucnvpn.com, the account dashboard, and everything we make available through them.
Account
The registration you create with your email address, through which you manage your subscription, billing, and devices.
Subscription
The recurring paid plan — Monthly, Annual, or 3-Year — that entitles your Account to use the Service without the free tier's daily limit for a billing period.
Free Access
Use of the Service through the Apps without a Subscription, subject to the daily time allowance described below.
Apps
The UCN VPN client applications and browser extensions we publish for the platforms listed on our download page.
Your Traffic
The network traffic you route through the Service. It passes through our servers encrypted; it is not content we host, store, or retain.
The Service We Provide
What UCN VPN includes.
Subject to these Terms, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to use the Service — for the term of your Subscription if you hold one, or within the daily allowance described under Free Access if you do not.
Every paid plan includes every feature. Only the billing period and the price differ between plans — there is no premium tier holding functionality back. Free Access provides the same protection within a daily time limit.
- Encrypted tunnelling using ChaCha20-Poly1305 with Curve25519 key exchange
- Access to our full server network in every region we operate
- Up to 10 simultaneous device connections on one Subscription
- An automatic kill switch that halts traffic if the tunnel drops
- DNS resolution inside the tunnel on our own resolvers, with leak protection
- Resolver-level blocking of advertising, tracking, and known malicious domains
- Unlimited bandwidth on a Subscription, with no data caps or speed throttling by plan
- Support by email, available every day of the week
Note
A VPN protects the confidentiality of your connection. It is not antivirus software, it does not make you anonymous, and it cannot protect you from malware you install, credentials you disclose, or information you choose to publish.
Free Access and Ad-Supported Time
Using UCN VPN without a Subscription.
You can use UCN VPN without paying. Install an App and create an Account, and you get one hour of connected time per day at no cost. The allowance resets daily and does not roll over — unused time on one day does not carry into the next.
On Android and iOS, you may extend that day's allowance by choosing to watch an advertisement. Watching is optional: it is a way to earn additional time, never a condition of using the free hour you already have.
- Free Access is granted per Account, not per device
- Time earned from advertisements applies to the day it is earned and expires with it
- Advertisements appear inside the App only — we do not inject advertising into, or otherwise modify, the traffic you route through the tunnel
- The daily allowance, the time an advertisement earns, and the availability of the reward are set by us and may change at any time
- Free Access carries no uptime commitment and no support response target
Advertising providers
Advertisements in the mobile Apps may be delivered by third-party advertising providers. To serve and measure them, those providers may process device and advertising identifiers and similar technical data under their own privacy policies. This is separate from the traffic you route through the tunnel, which we neither inspect nor retain. Where your device offers a control over ad personalisation or the advertising identifier, in your Android or iOS settings, that control applies here too. See our Privacy Policy for detail.
No obligation to keep it free
Free Access is offered at our discretion. We may change the allowance, restrict it, or withdraw it entirely — for all users or for an individual Account. Nothing in these Terms obliges us to continue offering the Service free of charge.
Upgrading
Taking out a Subscription removes the daily limit and the advertisements, and unlocks the full Service described above. The paid Service is never advertising-supported.
Important
Do not attempt to manipulate the free allowance — by automating or spoofing advertisement views, falsifying reward callbacks, registering multiple Accounts to multiply free time, or tampering with the App. We may reset earned time, withdraw Free Access, or suspend the Account.
Eligibility
Who may use the Service.
You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live, to hold an Account. By using the Service you represent that you meet that requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement.
- You are not located in, and are not ordinarily resident in, a country subject to comprehensive United States sanctions
- You are not named on any United States, United Kingdom, or European Union restricted-party or denied-persons list
- You will not make the Service available to anyone in either category
Your Account and Security
Credentials, accuracy, and responsibility.
You are responsible for everything that happens under your Account, including activity by anyone you allow to use it or the devices connected to it.
- Provide accurate registration and billing information and keep it current
- Keep your password confidential, use one that is unique to this Account, and do not share it
- Sign out of, or remove, devices you no longer control
- Notify us promptly at contact@ucnvpn.com if you suspect unauthorised access
Important
Because we keep no connection logs, we cannot reconstruct the history of a compromised Account or tell you which sessions were not yours. Protecting your credentials is the only effective control, and we are not liable for loss arising from credentials you disclose, reuse, or fail to protect.
The UCN VPN Apps
Desktop, mobile, and browser clients.
We publish UCN VPN applications for the platforms listed on our download page. Availability varies by platform and changes over time; a platform shown as forthcoming is not a commitment to a release date.
Subject to these Terms, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and use the Apps on devices you own or control, solely to access the Service. The Apps carry no separate charge: your Subscription governs what they can connect to.
- Keep the Apps updated; we support the current release and may end support for older versions
- Do not decompile, modify, or redistribute the Apps, or use them against an unofficial server
- The Apps require system-level network permissions to create a tunnel interface, which you grant when you install or first connect
- Uninstalling an App does not cancel your Subscription and does not stop billing
App stores and distribution
Where an App is distributed through Google Play, the Apple App Store, or a browser extension gallery, your use of that channel is governed by its own terms, which apply alongside these Terms. Installer packages we publish directly from our download page are signed; do not install builds obtained anywhere else. Your mobile network or data charges are your own.
Apple-specific terms
Where you obtain an App from the Apple App Store, this agreement is between you and UCNHUB LLC only, not with Apple. Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the App. If the App fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple and Apple may refund the purchase price; to the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation. UCNHUB LLC, not Apple, is responsible for addressing any claim relating to the App, including product liability, legal or regulatory non-compliance, and intellectual property claims. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you.
Devices and Simultaneous Connections
How many connections a Subscription carries.
One Subscription supports up to 10 simultaneous connections. A connection is counted per device with an active tunnel; a router configured with UCN VPN counts as one connection regardless of how many devices sit behind it.
The Account is for you and your household. It is not a licence to operate the Service for a wider group, to resell access, or to share credentials publicly.
Important
Where connection patterns indicate that credentials have been shared beyond a household or published, we may reset the Account password, reduce the connection limit, or suspend the Account.
Plans, Billing, and Taxes
How charges work.
This section applies to paid Subscriptions. Free Access involves no payment and creates no billing relationship.
The Service is billed in advance for the plan period you select — monthly, annually, or every three years — at the price published on our pricing page when you subscribe.
Payments are processed by Stripe. By providing a payment method you authorise us to charge it on a recurring basis until the Subscription is cancelled. We do not store full card numbers on our systems.
Renewal
Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled before it ends. You can see your renewal date, and turn auto-renew off, from the dashboard at any time.
Price on renewal
The rate you subscribe on is the rate you renew on, for as long as the Subscription stays continuously active. Published prices may change for new subscribers and for anyone resubscribing after a lapse; where we ever need to change the rate on an active Subscription, we will give you at least 30 days' notice by email before it takes effect.
Changing plans
You may move to a different plan from the dashboard. A change takes effect at your next renewal, at the price published for that plan at the time the change takes effect.
Failed payment
If a charge fails we may retry it. If payment remains outstanding we may suspend access to the Service and ultimately terminate the Subscription. We will attempt to notify you before access is lost.
Taxes
Prices are exclusive of taxes unless stated otherwise. You are responsible for any sales, use, VAT, GST, or similar taxes arising from your purchase, other than taxes on our income.
Cancellation and Refunds
Stopping charges and closing your Account.
You may cancel at any time from your dashboard. There is no cancellation fee. Cancelling switches off auto-renew: you keep full access until the end of the period you have already paid for, and are not charged again.
Fees already paid are not refunded pro rata for the unused remainder of a period. If you cancel and change your mind before the period ends, you can resume the Subscription from the dashboard.
If you use Free Access there is nothing to cancel — simply stop using the Service, or delete your Account from the dashboard.
- Deleting your Account is immediate and permanent, and ends access straight away
- Because we hold no browsing or connection records, there is no usage history for us to export to you
- Nothing here limits any statutory right of withdrawal or refund you may have as a consumer under the law that applies to you
Acceptable Use
The rules that keep the network usable.
Our IP addresses are shared between customers. Abuse from one Account gets those addresses blocked, rate-limited, or blacklisted for everyone else on them, so we enforce this section strictly.
You must not use the Service to do, attempt, or facilitate any of the following:
- Break any law that applies to you, to us, or to the destination of your traffic
- Send spam, phishing, or unsolicited bulk messages of any kind
- Distribute malware or ransomware, or operate command-and-control infrastructure
- Run denial-of-service attacks, port scans, credential stuffing, or intrusion attempts against any network
- Infringe intellectual property rights, including unlicensed distribution of copyrighted works
- Access, store, or distribute material that sexually exploits minors
- Harass, stalk, threaten, or defraud any person, or trade in stolen credentials or personal data
- Resell, rent, or redistribute the Service, or expose it as an open proxy or exit node for others
- Circumvent our connection limits, billing, or fair-use controls
Important
Confirmed abuse may result in immediate suspension without prior notice. Where the network or another customer is at risk, we will act first and contact you afterwards. Child sexual abuse material is reported to the authorities as required by law.
Fair Use and Network Management
Unlimited bandwidth, within reason.
We do not cap your data or throttle you by plan. Bandwidth is unlimited for ordinary personal use, including streaming, downloading, and video calls.
We reserve the right to manage the network where a single Account's usage degrades the Service for others — for example, sustained traffic at a level consistent with running a commercial service, a public proxy, or automated infrastructure rather than personal use.
- We may rate-limit, deprioritise, or restrict access to specific servers in response to such usage
- We may block ports commonly abused for spam and network attacks
- We will contact you before taking lasting action, unless the network is at immediate risk
Suspension and Termination
When access can be withdrawn.
We may suspend or terminate your Account where you materially breach these Terms, where fees remain unpaid, where we are required to act by law, or where continued operation presents a security or legal risk to us or to other customers.
You may stop using the Service at any time by cancelling your Subscription and deleting your Account from the dashboard.
Effect of termination
On termination your right to use the Service ends immediately, active tunnels are disconnected, outstanding fees become due, and your Account data is deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
Reinstatement
Where a suspension results from a resolvable issue — an unpaid invoice, or an Account secured after a compromise — we will normally restore access once it is resolved. We are not obliged to reinstate an Account terminated for abuse, and no refund is due where we terminate for breach of the Acceptable Use section.
No-Logs and Your Traffic
What we cannot produce, and what that means for you.
We operate a strict no-logs policy, described in full in our Privacy Policy. We do not record your originating or assigned IP address, the sites or services you connect to, your DNS queries, your connection timestamps, or your bandwidth per session.
Your Traffic is yours. We claim no rights over it, we do not inspect its contents, and we do not sell, share, or use it to build advertising profiles. Our servers run from RAM, so their state does not survive a reboot.
Advertising on the free tier
The one exception is the mobile advertising described under Free Access: serving and measuring those advertisements involves device and advertising identifiers handled by third-party providers. That is confined to advertising inside the App and does not extend to the traffic you route through the tunnel, which we neither inspect nor retain. Taking out a Subscription removes advertising entirely.
Note
Because these records do not exist, we cannot hand them over — to anyone. If we receive a subpoena, warrant, or other lawful demand for your activity, the only response we can give is that we hold no such data. We will still comply with valid legal process to the extent it reaches Account and billing information, which does exist.
Important
A no-logs policy is not a promise of anonymity. Your identity can still be exposed by what you do while connected — signing in to accounts, browser fingerprinting, cookies, or the payment method attached to your Account. Treat the Service as protecting the connection, not your identity.
Privacy and Data Protection
The data we do hold, and how it is handled.
Our handling of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
We act as the controller of the limited Account data we hold — your email address, subscription status, and billing records. We are not a processor of Your Traffic, because we do not retain it.
- Customers subject to the GDPR or UK GDPR may exercise their rights by contacting us
- We use sub-processors — including Stripe for payments, our hosting and network providers, and the advertising providers used on the free mobile tier — to deliver the Service
- Where you use Free Access on Android or iOS, advertising providers process device and advertising identifiers to serve and measure the advertisements that extend your daily time
- Data may be processed in the United States and in other countries where our providers operate
Lawful Use and Local Restrictions
VPNs are legal in most places, but not everywhere.
VPNs are lawful in the large majority of countries and are used routinely by businesses, journalists, and private individuals. A small number of jurisdictions restrict, license, or prohibit their use.
You are responsible for knowing and complying with the law where you are. Using the Service does not exempt you from any legal obligation, and we do not advise on the law of any jurisdiction.
- Do not use the Service to evade a court order, a sanctions regime, or an export control
- Terms of service of the sites and services you reach through the tunnel continue to apply to you
- Where a service you use restricts access by region, whether you may use a VPN to reach it is a matter between you and that service
Important
We make no representation that the Service is lawful, appropriate, or available in any particular country, and we accept no liability for the consequences of using it where it is restricted.
Availability and Support
What we aim for, and what we do not promise.
We use commercially reasonable efforts to keep the Service available, but we do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation, and we do not currently offer a contractual uptime guarantee or service credits.
We give advance notice of planned maintenance where practical. Emergency maintenance and security patching may occur without notice.
- Individual servers and locations may be added, moved, or withdrawn as the network changes
- Connection speed depends on your own connection, your distance from the server, and conditions outside our network
- Interruptions caused by your device, your ISP, or a network that blocks VPN traffic are outside our control
- Support is provided by email, and we aim to respond within one business day
Intellectual Property
What belongs to us.
The Service — including our software, apps, dashboard, documentation, design, and the UCN VPN and UCNHUB names and logos — is owned by UCNHUB LLC and protected by intellectual property law. These Terms grant you no rights in it beyond the right to use the Service.
If you send us feedback or suggestions, you grant us an unrestricted right to use them without obligation or compensation to you.
- Do not copy, modify, reverse engineer, or create derivative works of the Service
- Do not use our names, logos, or branding without our prior written permission
- Do not remove or obscure any proprietary notices in the Service
Third-Party Services
Things we depend on but do not control.
The Service relies on third parties — payment processing, data centres and network transit providers, app stores, and the sites and services you reach through the tunnel. Their terms govern their services, and we are not responsible for their acts, omissions, or availability.
Links to third-party sites in the Service or in our documentation are provided for convenience and are not an endorsement.
Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided as is.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, or non-infringement.
We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, that any particular server, location, or speed will be available, that the ad blocker will identify every unwanted domain, or that the Service will be reachable on every network.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of implied warranties, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
Limitation of Liability
The limits of what we can be held to.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, UCNHUB LLC and its members, officers, employees, and suppliers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, goodwill, business, or data, arising out of or relating to the Service, however caused and on any theory of liability.
Our total aggregate liability for all claims relating to the Service in any twelve-month period will not exceed the total fees you paid us for the Service in the twelve months immediately before the event giving rise to the claim.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law, including liability for fraud, for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any statutory consumer rights you may have.
Indemnification
Claims arising from your use.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless UCNHUB LLC and its members, officers, and employees against any claim, demand, loss, liability, or expense — including reasonable legal fees — arising out of Your Traffic, your use of the Service, your breach of these Terms, or your violation of any law or third-party right.
Changes to the Service and These Terms
How updates are made and communicated.
We may modify, add to, or discontinue parts of the Service, including individual server locations, protocols, and platform support. Where a change materially reduces functionality you rely on, we will give reasonable notice.
We may also update these Terms. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top of this page, and for material changes we will notify you by email to the address on your Account at least 30 days before they take effect.
Continuing to use the Service after revised Terms take effect constitutes acceptance. If you do not accept them, stop using the Service and cancel your Subscription before the effective date.
Governing Law and Disputes
Which law applies and where disputes are heard.
These Terms, and any dispute arising from them, are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules.
You and UCNHUB LLC agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Delaware, and each party waives any objection to venue in those courts.
If you are a consumer resident in a jurisdiction whose law grants you the right to bring proceedings locally, or to rely on your local consumer protection law, this section does not remove that right.
- Before filing a claim, contact us at contact@ucnvpn.com so we can try to resolve it directly
General Provisions
The remaining standard terms.
Entire agreement
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy, and DMCA Policy, are the entire agreement between you and UCNHUB LLC regarding the Service, and supersede any prior discussions.
Severability
If any provision is held unenforceable, it will be limited or removed to the minimum extent necessary and the remaining provisions will stay in full force.
No waiver
A failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver of our right to enforce it later.
Assignment
You may not assign or transfer these Terms without our written consent. We may assign them to an affiliate, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
Force majeure
Neither party is liable for a failure to perform caused by events beyond its reasonable control, including network or power failures, acts of government, censorship or blocking of VPN traffic, and the failure of an upstream provider.
Notices
We give notice by email to the address on your Account, or by posting in the dashboard. You give notice to us at contact@ucnvpn.com.
